Memecoin guide
Create a token like FLOKI
Make a FLOKI-style memecoin on Solana under your own name and logo, without writing code. 0.1 SOL base fee, 0.4 SOL with the three safety options that are on by default.
Create your tokenThis guide is not affiliated with Floki Inu (FLOKI). You can't use FLOKI's name, ticker or logo to pass your token off as FLOKI.
What is Floki Inu (FLOKI)?
FLOKI is named after Elon Musk's Shiba Inu. It expanded beyond memes into GameFi and DeFi utilities, becoming a multi-billion dollar project.
FLOKI shows how memecoins can evolve into utility platforms. Create a Solana-native token that starts as a meme and grows into utility.

Matching this supply needs fewer decimals
Solana token amounts must fit in a 64-bit number, so supply × 10decimals can't go above about 18.4 quintillion. At 9 decimals that caps supply at about 18,400,000,000 tokens. A 9,700,000,000,000 supply needs 6 decimals or fewer.
Our pick: keep the form's default of 1,000,000,000 at 9 decimals. If you want the big number, enter 9,700,000,000,000 and set decimals to 6.
How to create a FLOKI-style token
- 1.
Connect your wallet
Open the Create token page and connect Phantom or another Solana wallet.
- 2.
Give it its own identity
Choose your own name, ticker and logo. Keep the default 1,000,000,000 supply at 9 decimals, or for a FLOKI-sized supply enter 9,700,000,000,000 with 6 decimals or fewer.
- 3.
Choose the safety options
Remove mint authority, remove freeze authority and lock metadata are on by default (0.4 SOL in total). Each one you turn off saves 0.1 SOL.
- 4.
Create it, then add liquidity
Approve the transaction in your wallet. To make the token tradeable, create a Raydium CPMM pool on the Liquidity page.
What it costs
Creating a Raydium CPMM pool has no platform fee; Raydium's own pool fee applies.
Questions
How do I create a token like FLOKI on Solana?
On SPL Token Launcher, connect your wallet, choose your own name, ticker and logo, set the supply and decimals, keep or turn off the safety options, and approve one transaction. The base fee is 0.1 SOL; with all three safety options (on by default) it is 0.4 SOL.
What supply and decimals should I use for a FLOKI-style token?
Floki Inu (FLOKI) has a supply of 9,700,000,000,000. Solana token amounts must fit in a 64-bit number, so supply × 10^decimals can't go above about 18.4 quintillion. At 9 decimals that caps supply at about 18.4 billion tokens, so a 9,700,000,000,000 supply needs 6 decimals or fewer. Most new tokens use the form default of 1,000,000,000 at 9 decimals.
Can I call my token FLOKI or use its logo?
No. Creating your own token is fine, but using Floki Inu (FLOKI)'s name, ticker or logo to pass your token off as FLOKI is impersonation, misleads buyers and can infringe trademarks. Give your token its own name, ticker and artwork.
How do I make my token tradeable?
After creating your token, create a Raydium CPMM pool on the Liquidity page and pair it with SOL. SPL Token Launcher charges no platform fee for the pool; Raydium's own pool fee applies. Once the pool exists, aggregators such as Jupiter can route trades to it.
